Thank you Ellen!

This is a page dedicated to my favorite DJ, Ellen Ferrato. Going to an Ellen set is never the same experience twice. Why is this you ask? I am glad you asked. She has an ability to channel, no, harness the energy that comes from the crowd, she takes this energy provided by the dancing throngs and turns it inward and then unleashes it through her musical selection. When you go to her show there is this feeling that in some way you are contributing to the sound. That your mood and excitement is coming back at you two fold through the music. I first saw Ellen at the new years eve party 'anon salon' and ever since that night I have made it a mission to be at any show I can get myself to. In the front row. That's me, bouncing my vibes at Ellen. And feeling them bounce back at me in the form of deep thick grooves.

Bounce baby, bounce...

"It's no wonder that Ellen Ferrato is so popular. Her ability to work a crowd is uncanny. Not only does she spin immediate, user-friendly house tracks, but her ear-to-ear grin and energetic dancing behind the decks will win over any audience members who aren't already grooving."

"Known as much for egging the crowd on to harder dancing as the beautiful house music that she spins, few house Djs in San Francisco have inspired the devoted following that this woman has...This is not a jaded musician with tired eyes, and a rock star attitude, this is a woman that seems to share the same excitement and thrill about her sets that her legions of fans do. The times when she dropped Afro Medusa's "Pasilda" into her sets, I swear riots almost broke out, people were dancing so intensely."
Rob Bailey, SF Girl.com

"Ellen is probably the country's best kept secret. She plays the sexiest, most sensual house I have ever heard. The live performance and booth antics that she puts on greatly surpasses even those of Paul Oakenfold."
DJ Mike Gow, Velvet (St. Louis)
